Every bookmark you save is one dead link away from being useless.
What it is
An open source bookmark manager that saves a copy of the whole page, text, images and video, the moment you bookmark it. When the original disappears, your copy doesn't.
Why host it
Saving takes one tap from the iOS and Android apps or the browser extension. It runs in Docker on your own server, so everything you save stays with you.
Before you host
- Costs
- Nothing, beyond the machine it runs on
- Licence
- AGPL-3.0, open source
- Runs on
- Docker, on any server or home machine that stays on
- Apps
- iOS, Android, and extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Safari
- Worth knowing
- Semantic search is marked experimental and needs an embedding model, from OpenAI or a local one through Ollama. Keyword search works out of the box.

This is the good part. Nobody remembers what they called a bookmark, but they remember what it was for. Switch the search to semantic and describe the thing, and it finds it.
