FAQ
Good questions, straight answers
How do I get to Carrow Vale?
Carrow Vale station is a twelve-minute walk from the entrance along the towpath, and we run free shuttle buses from the station forecourt every fifteen minutes from 10:00 until an hour after the last set. Car parking is in Orchard Meadow, signposted from the Vale Road; it costs £10 a day and must be booked in advance.
Can children come to Loomwater?
Absolutely. Under-16s need their own ticket and must be with an adult aged 18 or over at all times. Children under five come free and don't need a ticket. Lantern Field has a quiet family area with craft workshops each morning.
What happens if it rains?
The music carries on. River Tent is fully covered and Lantern Field has a canopied bandstand. Bring waterproofs and sturdy boots; the meadows can get soft after a downpour. We only stop a set if the stewards judge the weather to be unsafe.
Is the site accessible?
Yes. Firm trackway runs between every stage, the entrance and the campsite, each stage has a raised viewing platform, and accessible toilets sit in every toilet block. Carers attend free with a valid ticket holder; email us before 1 June 2027 and we'll sort out the details.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
You're welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks in plastic bottles. Glass isn't allowed anywhere on site. Campers may bring a reasonable amount of alcohol for personal use in the campsite, but not into the arenas.
Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?
Tickets can be transferred to a friend for free until 30 June 2027 through your account. Refunds are available within fourteen days of purchase, or in full if the festival is cancelled.
What does a Loomwater Friends membership include?
Friends get 10% off every ticket order, early entry to the campsite on Friday afternoon and a vote on one act for the following year's Lantern Field line-up. Membership is free for anyone who has volunteered with us.
